The Pacamor Kubar Bearings (PKB) team enjoyed participating in the Aerospace MRO conference and exhibition in Dallas/Grapevine, TX this past month.  What an excellent show!  We're grateful for the enthusiastic reception this ball bearing manufacturer has received from the aerospace community.

PKB's FAA Certified Aircraft Bearings have been widely accepted by OEMs and FAA repair centers.  PKB's reliable delivery, competitive prices, and high quality are a welcome alternative to longer lead time, higher priced brands.  As a result, PKB continues to expand our capabilities to meet ever more demanding requirements from our Aerospace customers.

Sincerely,
Nancy Cogliandro

MICROmanufacturing magazine:
Manufacturing micro bearings is a detailed, multifaceted process

According to Dan McCann, of MICROmanufacturing magazine, PKB's miniature and instrument ball bearings are "the unsung workworses of microtechnology.  Unseen - and, if working properly, unheard - micro ball bearings pervade the microworld.  They're in dental and surgical drills, aerospace and aircraft instrumentation, fax and copying machines, and an array of emerging technologies."

Read the rest of the article on the MICROmanufacturing magazine website:  http://www.micromanufacturing.com/showthread.php?p=579 or find it with our White Papers section in our very helpful BearingTechnical Data section: http://www.pacamor.com/white_papers/index.php.ISO 9001:2000 / AS9100:2004 certified

There, you will find a detailed description of PKB's basic manufacturing processes.  Of course, we specialize many of our processes for unique customer requirements.  Specialized processes and capabilities can be discussed with us on a case by case basis.  In this article, you will get a brief introduction into Ball Bearing Manufacturing 101 and learn the basic concepts of ball bearing production, quality assurance, and assembly.

It's always surprising which blog entries get the most visitors.  When we posted links to The Today Show's segment "Where In The World Is Matt Lauer?", we never would have anticpated the amount of viewers.  This is a terrific series which follows the assembly operations at the Boeing factory in Seattle, WA.  The segments have been on our website for some time, but here are the links in case you missed it.

The PKB Bearing Blog has been enhanced to make it easier for you, the reader, to comment and join a dialogue about topics that interest you.

We hope you'll get a chance to enjoy the Boeing Aircraft Assembly video series as posted in the January '08 library section on www.pacamor.com/blog or click on the links in the yellow box below.  Just don't let the boss the smell popcorn wafting from your office...
