- The bearings and seal may be fine but I would not risk it besauce the parts are cheap compared to the pain of taking it all apart again. Also, when the spider broke, it is highly likely that´╗┐ it damaged the seal besauce the shaft would have been free'er rotationally. I would replace the seal at the very minimum but it really makes a lot of sense to replace the seal and both bearings.
